Hey gang, the 2012 training season has begun. Held the first class of the 2012 Season, WOW 2012, THAT NOT SO LONG AGO SEEMED SO FAR AWAY, this past Saturday. It was held at the DOUBLE ACTION SHOOTING RANGE in Yeadon, Pa. It was a 4 hour block of instruction, which actually turned into a little over 5 hours, on intermediate firearms training. This is the course that I run for applicants that are looking to apply for their Florida N0n-Resident CCW License. I went over the time allocated for the training because the people that attended were so eager to learn and we also did their finger prints. The finger printing is not included in the price of the course, $20.00, but it was so convenient for the students that everyone had them done. All they had to do then was to fill out the application, put that, a copy of the training certificate that they received, and a money order in the envelope and mail it. I believe that the turn around time for getting the CCW Permit back from Florida is around 30 days.
